A wedding ceremony is the formal event that unites two people in marriage. It typically includes a processional, the exchange of vows and rings, the first kiss, a custom unity ritual, the announcement of the newly married couple, and a recessional.

Be prepared with a 1 hour rehearsal the evening before your wedding, we will go through the Ceremony, the Processional, standing positions, signing of the Marriage License and Registrar and the Recessional. We will ensure your Ceremony goes smoothly.

An elopement is an intentional, intimate, and often personalized ceremony, usually with under 10-15 guests, where couples exchange vows, rings, and can dress up at a scenic location.

A simple signing ceremony focuses just on this aspect and includes not much beyond the paperwork and any legal requirements for marriage. In order to fulfill the legal requirements for marriage, a signing ceremony will usually include a wedding officiant, the couple and two witnesses. After the couple verbally consents to marriage, they will sign the marriage licence, along with their officiant and witnesses.

A vow renewal is a ceremony where a married couple reaffirms their commitment, often on a milestone anniversary, It celebrates enduring love, overcoming challenges, or a desire to recommit in a new way, and has no legal significance while offering the opportunity for a more personal or larger celebration than the original wedding.

The first 100 km from Sudbury are included (no extra charge).
Any distance beyond 100 km is charged at $0.72 per kilometer.

A non-refundable deposit of 75% of total is due to secure the wedding date for the Officiant.
The remaining balance of 25% is due when booking the 1-month meeting prior to wedding, no later than a month prior to the wedding date. The date of your Ceremony is not held until the deposit is received. Please do not send the deposit before you receive the "Officiant Wedding Services Agreement email".
An agreement email will be sent, with the clients names, package chosen, wedding date, rehearsal date (if applicable), and the venue/location mentioned.
Client Cancellation: If the Client cancels the wedding, the deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations made within 30 days of the wedding will require full payment.
Rescheduling: In case of a date change, Marguerite Collin Ceremonies will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the new date. If unavailable, the deposit is forfeited.
Vendor Illness or Emergency: Should the Officiant become unavailable due to illness, injury, or emergency, they will make all reasonable efforts to secure a suitable replacement of equal professional standing.
